With this year's general meeting on 21.01. the team elected its new management for the coming season 22/23.

A female dual leadership

The position of 1st chairperson will be filled by Lina Schwering for the new season. As part of the sponsoring team and highly involved in the structural manufacturing, Lina already gave her all for the team last season. She sets the motivation bar particularly high for the next season.As Lina's right hand Tina Pauli has been elected as 2nd chairwoman. Last season, she led the driving strategy and therefore knows the team very well. We are happy that these two inspiring women will represent our team for the next two years.

Technical management

In the technical departments new challenges are awaiting us. In order to face those, two members of the last team will be filling the position of technical manager simultaneously. Felix Hruschka and Jonas Padberg were indispensable during the development and production last season. Jonas he headed the Aerodynamics department. In addition, he spent much of his time in the workshop of our partners Structural Engineering and Germa. Felix made sure that the milling machine never came to a standstill in our workshop. He contributions to our race strategy team were crucial for the Covestro Photons performance. We are excited to count on such level of motivation and expertise for the development of the next Sonnenwagen.

A new treasurer

Leon Rahmen is a new member of our team. Leon has had contacts that reach far into the team for a long time and has already actively supported us many times. Therefore, we are even more pleased that he will now support us as an official team member. Being an organizational talent, he is exactly the right candidate to take care of our financial planning for the next season.

All goodbyes are tough

All this would not have been possible without our former 1st chairman Timon Elliger, who never let us down with his positive mindset and created a team chemistry in which you can only feel at home.

More in the background, but no less important, Simon Quinker has given us a loyal service as 2nd chairman and made sure that we represent what we want to convey today with Team Sonnenwagen.

Kersten Heckmann as technical coordinator pushed us to best performances. By always keeping an overview, the individual departments were able to develop their full potential.

The whole project would not have been possible without Frederic Aoun as our treasurer. We always knew the financial management was in the best hands, leaving the new team with the set-up needed to build the next Sonnenwagen.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for two incredible years, which would have been far less successful without you. For your further way all the best and hopefully many reunions with the current team as well as all the following ones!
