From the Workshop to Mental and Cognitive Training - Communication Training with Eva Klein

To compete in the World Solar Challenge with a solar car is not only a challenge in which various simulations, constructions and calculations are important. Essential here is the team and the efficient cooperation across departmental boundaries. In order to improve communication within the team in the long term, we received professional support from Eva Klein, the relationship trainer for professional and private life.

From B for needs to V for understanding

Together with Ms. Klein we discussed all levels of communication and worked on them in exercises in order to understand each other better. Among other things, we formulated the individual needs and goals. In addition, we were able to express to each other wishes for communication in success and crisis situations, for example, not to forget praise in addition to criticism.

FLOW - Working like a frenzy

In addition to communication, we also worked on the topics of motivation and independent action. Here we learned from Ms. Klein how to achieve a state of intoxication with the right prioritization and focus, in which time seems to play no role and you don't want to think about stopping until you have mastered the challenge. This state will be very helpful for the team to prepare the "Covestro Sonnenwagen" for the World Solar Challenge in October in the best possible way.

A very special team experience

Through Eva, we were guided through a great day of improving and working out our strengths as a team. Not only did we get to know each other better, we also learned to understand each other.
